Our client are a medical device organisation, specialising in providing cost effective medical products and therapy solutions to their patients and customers, continually striving to meet and exceed their needs. Operating world wide our client are continuing to grow and expand as a highly successful and lucrative organisation which is depicted through high revenues generated in 2007 and there total number of employees is in excess of 3,000.
The Role - Account Manager
The Account Manager role is a field based position, with three positions available one in Scotland, South West England and Essex. In order for you to successfully carry out your role you will be rewarded with a company car! The majority of your time will be spent meeting clients and making and attending face to face business appointments. A key aspect of the role is building and maintaining rapport with your clients and you will be required to develop existing accounts along with identifying new revenue opportunities for the organisation. Some administration duties will need to be carried out such as collating and reporting market information feedback and resolving customer queries.
Specific characteristics to be met for the Account Manager role include:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in any discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Due to the nature of the role a full and valid drivers license is essential
- Good presentation skills
- Ambition with plenty of drive and self motivation
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Passion for business
- Ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment
- Committed to forging a successful career in sales
