An antique LNER railway lamp which has been converted to electricity not by me I may add but by LNER. These lamps were converted from oil to save someone going around cleaning and filling then lighting lamps. It has a patent number which is 196218, a bullseye lens and weighs 14 kilos. The height of it is approx 15 inches and approx 8 inches square with two bolt like protruberences on the lid which were used to convey the electricity to the bulb which is still present and the original type bulb used I believe. A wonderful addition to a railway enthusiast collection.
