Help Aberlour Child Care Trust raise funds for Scotland's children by taking part in The Big Fun Run
Who are Aberlour Child Care Trust?
Since it was first established over 130 years ago Aberlour Child Care Trust has developed a reputation for providing quality community and residential care and support services for vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people and their families. In the last year we have worked intensively with over 1200 children and offered informal advice and support to a further 5000 children and young people through 46 services across Scotland. What is The Big Fun Run?
The Big Fun Run is advertised on its website (www.bigfunrun.com) as ‘a Run that’s Big on Fun!’ The aim of the event is to have fun, enjoy yourself, and make new friends all whilst raising money for your school or charity.
Aberlour Child Care Trust has chosen to take part in the event in Glasgow around Bellahouston Park, and in Edinburgh around Arthur’s seat. The routes are both 5km long and are suitable for wheelchairs (and pushchairs!).
It is an ideal event for the whole family to get out and do something different on the weekend, as the event is open to men, women and children. However, children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult and enter as a walker (adults can enter as walkers too :) ).

You guessed it…RUN FOR US (or jog or walk we’ll appreciate it either way).
The events take place on Saturday 4th October in Glasgow and Sunday 5th October in Edinburgh.
