Date posted: Friday 18th July
Location: Glasgow

The University of Glasgow is organising its sixth sponsored cycle continuing to raise funds for the Paul O’Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre, Glasgow. To date £184,852 has been raised through our sponsored cycle’s, please help us reach our £200,000 target in 2008!

Cycle Glasgow 2008 will take place on Sunday 17th August in Kelvingrove Park, starting 10am. As in previous years, the route will follow the Glasgow to Loch Lomond cycle path to Clydebank, where cyclists can stop for refreshment at the checkpoint, they will then join the Forth and Clyde Canal path, until they reach the Kelvin Walkway which will bring them back to Kelvingrove Park. Cyclists will have the option to cover 13 or 26 miles.

Sponsorship raised will enable the University of Glasgow’s world-class scientists to continue their vital research into the causes of and treatments for leukaemia in a state of the art, purpose built lab.

Thank you in advance for supporting what I hope you will agree is an extremely worthwhile cause.
