Knowledge Services are seeking to appoint a Health Information Scientist to provide a broad range of knowledge and information support across the organisation. You will support the development of evidence based products and assist staff in accessing and utilising the knowledge base within NHS QIS. You will have experience in the field of health information science and ideally be skilled in undertaking systematic literature searches to support evidence syntheses or large-scale research projects.

The role requires a postgraduate qualification in a CILIP accredited information and/or library studies course, supported with a degree preferably, in the life sciences, social sciences or medical-related. You will also have competent IT skills (using MS Office and reference management software), together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team working.
