I am a holistic therapist with a passion for delivering excellent treatments and high level of customer service. I have worked in both the holistic and beauty therapy sectors for twenty years offering a variety of different holistic treatments, beauty treatments and stress management services. I am a member of the International Council of Holistic Therapists and the International Federation of Health and Beauty Therapists. I provide a wide range of therapies and treatments to promote healing, a deep sense of relaxation and to provide relief from the stresses of everyday living. I work most days/nights/weekends from home providing all holistic therapies and beauty treatments in Cumbernauld (and sometimes also do home visits in the Cumbernauld area depending on your needs) and provide holistic therapies on a Tuesday and Thursday from Embody Massage Clinic in Glasgow. I offer the following treatments:-

Aromatherapy
This is the therapeutic use of essential oils (the concentrated, fragrant extracts or hormones of plants that give them life) to promote relaxation and help relieve various symptoms of many health conditions. The essential oils are applied to suit individual needs.

Reflexology
The practice of reflexology works on the feet or hands enabling the body to heal itself. The feet (hands) are a mirror of the body and therefore by working the feet you can directly influence, elevate and heal different areas of the body.

Therapeutic/ Swedish massage
In Sweden, "Swedish massage" is simply known as "classic massage". And that is exactly what it is - a classic treatment designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.

Reiki
The practice of Reiki is the art and science of channelling this universal energy and involves directing the natural flow of ki (universal energy) to build up the individual's own energy resources and balancing the mind, body and spirit.

Crystal Therapy
Crystal healing therapy is to restore wholeness, balance and health to emotions, mind and spirit as well as the physical body. Crystal healing works by using the crystals to interact with the energy field that surrounds you, known as the aura and the energy points known as chakras.

Indian Head Massage - Indian head massage is based on the Indian ayurvedic system of healing, which teaches self-care and prevention of illness. It is a holistic therapy in which the upper-back, upper arms, neck, head and face areas are massaged with the purpose of manipulating energy channels.

Holistic Facial
A unique experience fusing a classic facial and a holistic treatment / chakra cleanse giving impressive results to skin and emotional well-being. Afterwards skin looks notably younger, firmer and fresher due to the holistic nature of the facial and not only does the skin look great but you will feel totally balanced and relaxed in mind, body and spirit.

Hot Stone Massage
This is a style of deep massage in which hot stones of varying sizes are placed at specific sites and moved in traditional massage movements on the client's body to promote deep muscle relaxation and to open up the meridians (energy pathways).

Stress Management
One of the biggest complaints people have these days is that they are stressed. Life is fast these days, relentlessly hectic and more demanding. It causes many physical and psychological symptoms and ultimately end in illness. We must learn to recognize the early signs of stress and combat them before they can cause any of these physical and psychological symptoms and I will evaluate your personal stress and help reduce this with various stress reducing exercises and activities, massage techniques and relaxing, healing therapies.
