Aspirare Recruitment are currently recruiting 2nd line desktop support people for our client based in East Kilbride.
Experience in the telephone/helpdesk based support of MS Outlook, MS Office as well as other internal systems, fixing unresolved problems passed over from 1st line. The main function of this role is to resolve as many 2nd level queries as possible to help free up time for the onsite engineers. You will be required talk users through the fix as well as connecting remotely to fix and also remote updates of malware/spyware patches.
This role would suit experienced 2nd level helpdesk support people with at least 2 year+ experience.
Although you will be required to have the technical expertise, you will also need to have strong documentation and reporting skills as well as the ability to follow tightly monitored procedures.
