I am a diligent law graduate who has recently completed the the Diploma in Legal Practice and my ultimate goal is to gain a traineeship commencing in 2009/2010.

However, as traineeships are few and far between in these uncertain times I am eager to gain experience within a law firm. I am seeking work within a law firm at any level (either part-time or full-time) at any salary level (or unsalaried if this is necessary). I would be willing to work anywhere in Scotland but would prefer somewhere commutable from Glasgow.

I obtained a 2:1 LLB (Hons) and a Diploma in Legal Practice. I also work in the retail sector, in the voluntary sector and I have had shadowing experience with a solicitor. I am a speedy typist and have previous experience working in an office environment and also work as a voluntary research assistant on real case files for a busy city centre firm. I am particularly interested in court work and public administration but would be willing to take on work in any field as I am a hard worker and eager to join the legal profession.
