My Client, a world leading renewable energy company, currently has a vacancy for a Senior Electrical Engineer to work with their rapidly expanding team based in Glasgow, Scotland.
The successful candidate will be managing all aspects of the grid connection process for the company's Scottish portfolio of wind farms during development and pre-construction project phases.
In return they offer you an extremely competitive salary (£42 000 - £52 000), large bonus, excellent pension fund, car allowance, and health care.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be managing all aspects of the grid connection process across a portfolio of sites including:
·Preparation of project ‘grid plans'.
·Preliminary grid feasibility studies.
·Grid connection applications.
·Negotiation of detailed terms with utility companies
·Securing grid connection agreements with the relevant authorities.
Investigating novel ‘blue sky' connection concepts for on-shore and offshore wind farms.
Assisting with contract document preparation during the ‘pre-construction phase' including:
·Management and preparation of electrical aspects of substation contracts.
· Management and preparation of electrical aspects of turbine contracts.
·Management and preparation of electrical aspects of Balance of Plant contracts.

Candidate Specifications:
The candidate will be a senior graduate electrical engineer, preferably chartered, with at least five years experience. Essential skills will include:
