I have for sale my BMW 525d M Sport (Avus Edition).
Fully, fully loaded, way more spec than most, and being a 5 series it has more spec than the 3 series and more comfort and space and is no bigger than a ford mondeo or vw passat

Please dont be put off by the milage any mechanic will tell you these engines are bullet proof and will do 300,000 easy when looked after, it's had new shocks, springs, brakes, almost all the perishables have been replaced and i can prove this with reciepts and so on, new fuel injectors, fuel rails, fuel pumps the list goes on and on, this has been looked like no other.

MOT'D FOR 10 MONTHS AND TAXED TILL JAN NEXT YEAR

THE ONLY REASON I'M SELLING IS THAT I'M IN NEED OF A TOURER AS WE HAVE A BABY ON THE WAY AND NEED THE EASY LOADING AREA
SO IF YOU HAVE A 530d/330d TOURER FACE LIFT I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN A DEAL WITH YOU.

The car is in excellent condition. Mechanically it is 100% with no knocks, bangs unwanted smoke, sqeaks etc.... absolutely mint mechanically The car has had £0000's spent on it in the past year or so!
The car has FULL AND DOCUMENTED HISTORY the majority of which is BMW dealer stamped, all the major work on the injectors etc.... was carried out by BMW. Still has all green service indicator bars showing from last service so loads of time remaining until next service !

I have available the actual pre delivery spec sheet so you can see for yourself how many extras were added to this car straight from the factory It is factory debadged and replaced with Aplina badges front and rear but otherwise no model specific badges so you really can't tell what model it is (looks like an M5).

The 2.5 turbo diesel engine is amazing It is astonishing to drive You honestly would not think it was a diesel from the engine note, so quiet! It has real, everyday useable power in that it accelerates effortlessly to overtake, you'll be surprised to look at the speedo sometimes as it is deceptively fast

The car is also the Tiptronic model, SO YOU JUST PULL BACK AND PUSH FORWARD TO CHANGE GEAR UP AND DOWN which works 100%. Gear changes in the manual mode are quick and smooth both up and down the box

If you leave it in Auto (as i have) you barely feel the gear changes!

It also has an "Auto Sports" mode, which quickens up throttle response and revs slightly higher, on longer journey's it has the added bonus of cruise control The car averages approx 50+mpg on motorway runs which is fantastic economy for such a car!

The only external blemishes on the car are a small crack in the front bumper which from anything more than 1 metre away you would not notice.

Second blemish is a scratch to the passenger side rear door (again see photo) it's been rather cruedly disguised by a "Nurburgring" sticker but again from any distance over 1 metre or so you would not notice.I HAD A QUOTE OF £260 TO HAVE THESE REPAIRED AND I WILL BE HAPPY TO PASS THE DETAILS ON THE NEW OWNER

I am simply picking up anything which you may notice on VERY close inspection so that you are aware of them. There are the usual small stone marks from general raod use, these are at the front on the spoiler section, unavoidable on the UK's roads!

There are an almost new set of 18" Alpina replica alloys with new tyres (approx 2000 miles at the very most!) on the car which really set the car off however they have slight kerb marks, nothing major but small marks on the rim (the Mrs)

Spare is the genuine BMW item with unused tyre. Unused tool kit and first aid kit.
The car also has a stainless exhaust fitted (reciepts are here for the gurantee, cost approx £300).

As i say, externally the car is excellent.

The interior is MINT It has a casette/radio in the front with the 6 disc changer in the boot, all of which work 100%. It has the usual BMW MSPORT Multi function steering wheel which accomodates the cruise control, stereo and phone call buttons. It also has the added bonus (in my opinion anyway) of having the more up to date and stylish "Aluminium pack" instead of the slightly dated wood/walnut effect

So, there we have it...... please don't confuse this with your average 525d, it has been very well looked after and looks/drives amzingly! with huge spec and "M Power" extras (suspension, sills, steering wheel etc....) THESE ENGINES RUN FOREVER IF LOOKED AFTER, AND IT HAS AND CAN PROVE WITH ALL THE RELEVANT PAPERWORK so dont be put off by the milage, it feels as tight as a nut!

I have the MOT, 3 keys(one being the plastic mould) V5 and HPI report here ready for the new owner.

ABSOLUTELY ANY INSPECTION WELCOME..... RAC/AA/BMW TECH/MECHANIC FRIEND VIEWING AND TEST DRIVES ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO SEE FOR YOURSELF HOW WELL THE CAR DRIVES AND LOOKS IF IT IS NOT COMPLETELY AS DESCRIBED YOU CAN WALK AWAY WITH NO BAD FEELING AT ALL

I have been 100% honest in my desription as i know what it feels like when you turn up to see something you've read about only to find a completely different thing I am a genuine, honest guy and would not mess people around and hope not be either

Cash on collection of vehicle only please. If you have to travel a fair distance to collect, I can arrange for collection from Edinburgh airport or train station if needed.
