Our client is well recognised media organisations, who are renowned for their cutting edge and glamorous name in the market and are now looking to take on the Scottish market full force. They offer a long-term career opportunity within a fantastic working environment. You will be based in Glasgow and selling to predominantly a Scottish audience. The company is substantial in terms of both size and turnover, boasting a wide-ranging portfolio of titles which is, truly, the envy of publishers the length and breadth of the country.


Role Description
This is an office based role selling advertising space to potential clients. You will be cold calling, networking and constantly working on developing your pipeline. You will be responsible for managing your own client base and target, sourcing new business leads and maintaining existing business relationships. You will be working to tight deadlines therefore great closing skills are imperative. There will be occasional face to face contact with your client at fashion events or exhibitions however this is a 95% internal position.


Candidate
The successful candidate will have a keen interest in health, beauty fashion and lifestyle. A strong proven track record in sales and a minimum of a year's B2B telesales experience preferably in the media sector but not essential. You will be target and success driven with a persuasive and consultative approach to your calls. You will be confident, dynamic and friendly and have a creative flair and think outside of the box with a tenacious approach to your working life. You will thrive on meeting deadlines, be looking to earn maximum bonus and hungry for a long-term successful career within one of the most exciting opportunities in the market. Clean driving licence and own transport preferred.
