Eden Scott's client, a major global financial services provider, has a requirement for a Data Manager to ensure the effective management and support of test data to facilitate a thorough testing of the company's online portal.

The primary focus of this role will be to support system testing but also to facilitate any development or analysis requirements. You will load and configure the appropriate data across the test environments within the middle tier and back end systems.

The successful candidate will have strong relational database modelling and analysis skills with solid experience of SQL, ideally within Oracle. You will also have the ability to write SQL scripts to automate the data extraction/update activities within the test environments, continually striving to make the data management process more efficient and accurate. You will have strong MS excel skills and an ability to absorb and work with large amounts of data.

This role may suit someone from a testing or technical business analyst background.
Given the nature of the product, an understanding of multi-tier web applications and online banking would be highly desirable.
Also required is an understanding of SDLC methodology, with particular attention to testing and an ability to explain complex data models to developers, analysts and managers in a clear and concise manner.
