PHP developer required to work with our development team on new projects, developing our existing products and maintaining & supporting previous projects.

We have a good strong team with a mix of designers, developers and marketing/seo people that work well together. We are looking for a web developer to join the development team.

Requirements;

* Must have strong PHP skills
* 2 years or more with SQL (MS-SQL and MySQL)
* Strong Javascript skills
* Strong xml, xhtml, html, xsl, xslt skills and experience of web services
* Experience of object orientated development/design and framework methodologies
* Experience of working with a team of developers

Candidates with any of the following skills would be highly desirable and go to the front of the queue;

* Experience with ColdFusion - from version 5+
* Experience of the Joomla content management system
* Experience with Java, including J2EE servers
* Good server/networking skills - from DNS, to IIS, from Linux to Windows.
* Sharepoint, .NET and MSCMS
* Experience with server/pc support

Experience of other languages such as perl and asp, web accessibility/usability considerations, ajax and CSS is also beneficial.

You will be working with our designers, developers and project manager to produce solutions using the PHP based Joomla! cms, supporting our ColdFusion cms and supporting a wide variety of other projects - in ColdFusion (5 to 8), but also includes PHP, asp and perl.

You will be comfortable working with others and appreciate the commercial sensibilities of much of the work you will be involved with.

Responsibilities include;

* To develop technical solutions quickly & efficiently within agreed deadlines and budgets.
* To perform systems analysis and prepare system specifications.
* To support and competently answer technical questions relating to the company’s services and systems.
* To produce technical support documentation as and when required.
* Offer ongoing support where this has been agreed.
* To represent our company in a professional manner at all times.
