Up for sale here is my RB5 grey Version 5 impreza type R which for lack of better words is a more hardcore, faster and lighter P1. I've owned the car for around a year now and has never missed a beat. Car is in mint condition bar some stone chips on the bonnet and front bumper as you'd expect. Much sought after car as it's the base for the 99' group N rally car and also a pretty rare colour. Comes as standard with lightened aluminium bonnet, boot and front wings and sound deadening removed making it tip the scales at just under 1300kg. Also comes with much closer gearbox ratios than any other impreza which makes for great acceleration (0-62mph in just over 4 seconds). Version 5 also comes with better brakes and suspension than older models. The i/c waterspray has been removed as the intercooler is now front mounted and the centre diff is now in permanent 70:30 ratio (done before I bought vehicle). Vehicle was dyno'd at 319.4bhp and 324lb-ft. Modifications are as follows:

Engine: Engine has been fully stripped and rebuilt with the following:

STI 5 open deck block
Eagle rods
STI crossed and drilled crank shaft
ACL race bearings (big and main)
ARP head studs
Roger Clark Motorsport custom oil pump
Cosworth pistons
Cosworth head gaskets
New cambelt, exedy clutch, filters, radiator, water pump and spark plugs were all fitted at this time too as well as the cylinder heads being overhauled ( around 25,000 miles ago)

K&N intake
Greddy front mount intercooler and hard pipes
HKS SSQV 2 dump valve

Whiteline control springs
Whiteline front and rear anti roll bars

16" rays engineering TE37 wheels with lightened blue RAYS wheel nuts

Full Version 6 crystal head lamp and indicator kit

Version 6 high level spoiler
Fully de stickered contrary to photos that i have at the moment (more can be taken if necessary)

META M999T alarm/immobilser/remote central locking
Number plate is now of the larger legal variety as I was getting a lot of hassle for it.
