Finite Element Cfd Analysts Oil and Gas
We are working exclusively with a major oil and gas service company who are starting a new division based in Stirling.
They are looking for a range of skills sets but one of their priorities lies in the area of Finite Element Analysis.
Initially, as a key member of staff, you would be responsible for existing subsea mechanical design projects but your responsibilities would move onto other areas quite quickly. The facility will be responsible for the development of subsea riser technology (as well as other areas). These are new systems for our client so there will be a strong element of conceptual design involved.
Ideally, you will have some experience within this field however, our client views a stress/fatigue analysis skills set rather than product-specific knowledge as being key to this particular role.
They are looking for candidates with a good degree and several years analysis experience within the oil and gas, nuclear, defence, shipbuilding or other (mechanical/manufacturing) safety-critical sectors.
Candidates may come from a strong consultancy background or manufacturing company.
Due to the nature of the role and early-stage lifecycle of the project, these roles are only open to staff/permanent applicants.
This role represents an excellent opportunity to transfer your career to the oil and gas sector or transfer your oil and gas career to another part of the country. Relocation assistance will be available if necessary.
