Vehicle Administrator (Motherwell)
Vehicle Administrator - £14000 - £16000 (Negotiable, DOE)
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
An exciting opportunity is available for a Vehicle Administrator to work with one of Scotland’s leading automotive retailers. The main purpose of the role is to administer, prepare and complete all documentation relating to vehicle stock the sale of vehicles. Reporting directly to the Dealership Accountant, you will work on a day to day basis with the sales team and management to ensure the customer expectations are fulfilled on time and to a very high level.
APPLICANTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT A BACKGROUND IN VEHICLE ADMINISTRATION.
Candidates should have excellent communications skills, be computer proficient, able to work in a fast paced environment and be well organised.
Responsibilities
• To ensure that all data is accurately recorded.
• To ensure the correct use of all relevant systems.
• Use of the AFRL system – training is provided but prior knowledge is highly desirable.
• To book both new and used vehicles into stock and keep the records updated.
• To invoice the vehicles to the Retail, Fleet, Trade and Intercompany customer’s, prior to delivery of the vehicles.
• To raise job cards for both mechanical and bodywork preparation.
• To raise job cards for dealer fitted accessories and sublet work.
• To prepare the documentation to tax Used vehicles after the vehicle is invoiced.
• To prepare the supporting documentation for the customer prior to the vehicle being delivered to the customer.
• To assist in the ordering of vehicles from the manufacturer’s system.
• To assist in the calling off or call over of the vehicle from the manufacturer’s system.
