National Bid Team Planner
One of our market leading clients is currently seeking to recruit National Bid Team Planner based in Glasgow. They are one of the UK’s leading access, scaffolding and multi service companies providing leading edge innovative solutions for “blue chip” clients in the Petrochemical, Power and Infrastructure/Construction industries across the company.
The purpose of the role:
To work as part of the national bid team creating plans to assist with estimating jobs, submissions to clients and handover to operations team.
Main Responsibilities and Objectives of the Role:
- Provide input and assist with preparing submissions to client.
- Maintain and update a live plan of current and future bids
- Create specific plans and schedules for tenders and contracts.
- Assist with the bid team in general.
Qualifications and Experience:
HNC or equivalent
Minimum 2 years planning experience in construction/infrastructure environment
Skills and Abilities:
- Good team player
- Ability to assist with estimating jobs
- Excellent communication skills
- Essential experience in: Primavera, Projects, MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of clients in infrastructure, power, petro-chem and construction industry.
