A Christmas Carol Cabaret ~ Dickens With A Saucy All-Over Twist

In the (very) drunken spirit of the festive season and in homage to our Dickensian burlesque forebears, Blond Ambition Events have given the Ministry of Burlesque’s High Tease a special theatrical twist. Come 5th December, High Tease will take the form of a traditional British burlesque and see a star studded cast play an uproarious send up of ‘A Christmas Carol’. Expect to be bewildered and bewitched at this ribald pastiche full of bawdy shenanigans, pant-y-mime tomfoolery and of course, the most sexy showgirls and boys in town. See Des O'Connor as Ebenezer Scrooge take on a company of ghosts, girls and g-strings! High Tease has its focus firmly fixed on the very best of new variety, crafty burlesquing and traditional entertainment delivered with 21st century sass and high production values. High Tease was a sell out show during this years Edinburgh fringe festival.

Vegas!
It’s Christmas in Vegas and the grapevine is buzzin’. The question on everyone’s lips is who is this Santa cat and what’s his angle? Nobody sees him in a year then he strolls in, jinglin’ all the way, demandin’ milk and cookies. The word on the street is that he’s a bag guy for the good guys, but what’s the catch? He’s got this heavyweight operation going down every Christmas dispensin’ gifts to all the good children, he’s even recruited the Fabulous Scott Brothers to help empty his sack in the Stardust Casino Lounge at the Fruitmarket, just so the naughty girls and boys on the roulette and blackjack tables get a cut of the action . Bugsy, Sam and Dino are keepin’ a close eye on the cat in the red suit and his henchmen Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and their motley crew of elves, meanwhile Frankie’s relaxing in the Jacuzzi with some chick called Christmas Carol and Nikki Nevada and the Vegas Showgirls are filling their Christmas stockings most delightfully.
