Hays Energy are working in partnership with one of the largest engineering companies in the world. We are currently seeking Construction and Start up Manager to deal with coal power plants. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager with the chance for career progression and exciting projects on offer. The salary and benefits on offer are competitive and negotiable depending on experience.

Candidate Specifications;





- Long working experience in large power plants (and if possible other industrial plants) retrofits.

- Start Up experience in coal power plants is desirable.

- Over 10 years working experience in power plant EPC projects including clean coal technology or CCGT.

- Should have at least 5-7 years experience as Site Manager or Site Superintendant in coal power plant construction or modifications.

- Knowledge of Construction activity planning and management (civil construction, steel structure erection, pipe prefabrication and erection, instrumentation and electric installation, insulation, scaffolding, painting and coal boiler retrofit works)

- Knowledge of; Warehouse organisation, Working Units / Cost Units, Construction activities estimation, Quality Control and Quality Assurance for site activities (e.g. positive material identification and test procedures).

- Education : Degree qualified Civil or Mechanical Engineer (or similar technical study).
