The Role:

You will report to the pre-contact Director and will be responsible for managing the estimating team consisting of estimators, planners and Quantity take off surveyors to enable the outturn of estimates capable of delivering the aspired margins once operational. You will produce tender strategies and will set up and manage systems to allow accurate estimating. This role will require you to have first class communications skills as you will interface with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and effectively lead a team to deliver the highest standards.



What we're looking for:

The client is setting up a new department within their Scottish Division and is seeking a talented and experienced Estimating manager to join their team. Ideally you will come from a heavy civil engineering background in order to tackle the challenge this role offers. To that end you will be a highly competent leader who has the ability to train, support and develop a team of Estimators to the highest level.
