The challenge - Within your role as a technical consultant, you will provide expertise and consultancy to market leading companies using my client's business critical software products. You will act as the technical authority to ensure maximum performance of this cutting edge technology product. As the technical expert you will use Perl to make any amendments to the products on site to meet client requirements. You will be operating in a Solaris environment, so exposure to this technology is vital to provide consultancy and expertise.
The person - You should have strong verbal and written communication skills.

You should be methodical and a logical problem solver, having the ability to think on your feet. You will be a self-starter who is more than comfortable working on your own. You will be proactive as well as looking for solutions to challenges. As this role requires the consultants to travel within the UK as well as overseas, certain flexibility and adaptability is required.
