For sale is my Tokai LS90Q. This is a 2001, made in Japan.
These Japanese Les Paul copies are basically identical to the Gibson 1959 Les Paul standard.
They are considered as good, some better than those made by Gibson and the ones with the Gibson-type headstock are becoming quite rare. For lawsuit purposes all new Love Rocks that are imported to the UK have a different headstock.

This one has a solid, two-piece mahogany back, maple cap and an amazing quilt-top veneer with a cherry sunburst finish.
It has a one-piece mahogany neck and a beutiful Rosewood fingerboard.
It has nice off-white/yellowish binding around the body and on the neck.
The frets are in great condition.
It weighs in at 8 1/2 lbs.

It has the stock MKII PAF pickups, which are great sounding.

I have removed the scratchplate. It is too nice a finish to hide. I have the scratchplate, if you want to put it back on.
Everything else is stock.

I have it set up for 10s, with a fairly low action.

It has a fantastic Les Paul sound, but at a fraction of the price.

It has one or two marks on it, after 7 years of playing. A few light scratches on the back. One small dink at the very corner of the headstock. The finish has a very fine crack around the nut.
None of this is really noticable unless you look closely and, of course, does not detract from the playability or sound.

I have the original receipt for this guitar from previous owner. It cost £850 from Wizard Guitars in Donacaster.

Guitar comes with a Gator hard-case, as-new condition, included in the price (cost £50).

Why am I selling? I just bought myself a Gibson Les Paul custom and need to fix my bank balance.
