New Job: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Job Location: Glasgow
Job Salary/Benefits: £30k - £40k + Car, Pension, Health, 25 Days holidays
My client is an International surveying consultancy, with interests in buildings, rail, civils, nuclear, water and renewables projects.  Due to an increased workload within a variety of framework contracts, there is an immediate need for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. 

As an integral member of the team, you will be gaining experience in the largest Civil, Water and Nuclear Decommissioning contracts in Scotland as well as involvement in many of the country's most significant Road/Rail Interchange projects.

The candidate will be involved in:

- Pre and Post contract
- Contract administration
- Cost management
- Administer terms and conditions of the contracts (Particularly NEC3) and ensuring all parties engaged are working within the parameters and objectives
- Programme/planning management
- Mentoring trainee and intermediate QS's
- Attend, chair and minute meetings

The Successful candidate will likely have experience within similar industry sectors, ideally be able to demonstrate a good understanding of various UK procurement techniques and Government contracts as well as the versatility to shift between projects as required.
