Our client are a regulatory body in Scotland. They are currently recruiting for a practical "hands on" engineer to support their fabrication and servicing department. The individual will work within the workshop which contains standard engineering equipment such as Lathes, Milling machines, drilling machines, grinding machines, welding and cutting equipment.

The role will focus on the fabrication of simple electronics equipment and using larger metal working machines. A proportion of the time  may also be based at site.

An NHC in Engineering would be an advantage. Knowledge of fabrication and handling workshop hand tools is also required. It is estimated that at least 2 years working within a practical engineering environment.

 The team are friendly and welcoming and the opportunity to liaise with various other departments exists. The role will be variable and rewarding.
