Also booking are being taken for small beginners art classes (WEEK DAYS) max 4 students per class.

I am a professional artist with over 40 years experience as well as teaching qualifications.

All classes and 'one to one' courses are held in my Glasgow studio, and are 12 weekly 2 hours lessons.

Students will be accepted on a first come basis and the class sizes are limited to four students. Places will go quickly so please book early.

I am more than happy to offer all prospective students a completely free, two hour trial lesson.

Or you can arrange to visit my studio for a coffee and a chat, have a look at the work of some of my existing students and get a feel for the way I teach art.

Over the 12 week beginners course, you could expect to progress to an artist who will be able to competently and confidently undertake your own
painting projects in a range of mediums. You would also possess the foundations on which build and increase your skills.

The paintings in the photographs are all 'works in progress' of students who are on 12 week courses with me now. All of them started as beginners.

This is the sort of progress a beginner can expect to make.

Most beginners are very sceptical until they have studied with me for a few weeks, but if you follow my instructions you will progress to a very high standard. Lessons are interesting and fun by the way.

Then, in your own time, you can confidently experiment and develop your own style, from this foundation.

At the moment I am deliberately holding down the price of the 12 x 2 hour Beginners course to encourage beginners.

The price of the 12 lesson course is £130-00 and this includes all paints, canvases, water colour paper etc, in fact all materials.

'One to one' courses are £200-00 and again this includes all paints, canvases, water colour paper etc, in fact all materials.
