Health and Safety Consultant /CDM Coordinator required for Glasgow

Currently, this group has a range of projects, including: new sports arena's and stadiums, expansion and reconfiguration of existing buildings, new leisure facilities, education premises and buildings of historic importance. Projects are currently throughout the UK including both the Northern Ireland and Eire.
As well as gaining experience and developing your skills as a general health and safety consultant, you will also gain specialist knowledge in the construction safety and CDM Coordination sector.
Previous experience of CDM coordination and management is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilites:
Undertake CDM Cordinator duties in accordance with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007.
Preparation of technical documentation in health and safety related subjects and Plan and manage the production of specific CDM related documentation.
Ensure that appropriate service delivery deadlines are met and the objectives of the company and the client are achieved.
Represent the client at meetings with the client, other professionals and suppliers.
Assist in ensuring that practices, policies, strategy and services represent the client's and our clients best interests and that policy is in keeping with current legislation, British Standards and Codes of Practice etc.
Skills:
Preferable:
NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Safety & Health
and
NEBOSH Construction Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health
Desirable:
NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 in Occupational Health & Safety
Or
British Safety Council Diploma in Health & Safety Management
