SALARY: UP TO £45,000PA PLUS CAR ALLOWANCE AND BONUS

JOB SUMMARY:

Our client is a leading financial service organisation based in Edinburgh and due to a period of restructure, the team requires an experienced Oracle Production support DBA to join their busy team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibility is the provision of high quality professional services, this requires:

· Strong experience as an Oracle DBA
· Expert in your field and consultative approach
· Financial services experience in a Production support role

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

· Minimum of 4 years working in a production environment
· Experience of Oracle 9i, 10g and 11g on a variety of platforms.
· Previous experience of installs, upgrades, migrations and patching
· Strong performance tuning skills.
· Solid backup and recovery experience.
· Exposure to High availability and/or Disaster recovery solutions would be beneficial.
· Hands-on ability to exploit all features of relevant technologies.
· Troubleshooting all aspects of installation, configuration and performance of relevant products, plus related technologies in the customer environment.
