Private nursing home in the Glasgow area are currently requiring a relief cook to provide cover for their permanent cooks' days off.

Job Description
Main Duties

In this role, you would be responsible for preparing nutritious, healthy meals for the approximately 60 residents and about 10 staff. In this unit the cook would be required to provide breakfast, lunch and an evening meal taking into consideration any specific dietary requirements that the residents may have. Other duties would include maintaining high level of health and safety standards, maintaining the cleanliness of your work environment at all times, as well as adhering to the company's hazard analysis and food safety procedures.


Required Experience

Relevant food hygiene certificates are a must and City and Guilds 706 ½ Qualifications are desirable. Previous experience in a similar role is preferable.
