White Lotus Hatha Yoga Classes Westend, Bearsden and Milngavie

We have a range of Yoga classes in and around the Glasgow area to suit all abilities.

Monday - Partick evening

· General level Hatha Yoga Drop-in: 6.15-7.25pm, Partick Burgh Halls, Lesser Hall, £7 drop-in (£4 full time student) or £35 for 6 week card.

This class is suitable for complete beginners, and those who have done some yoga before. This class will be running each Monday as usual, class closes for Christmas with final class 21st Dec. If you have been attending this class for some time, or you feel you would like to be a little more challenged, you may want to consider moving up to the intermediate class at 7.30pm, it is always good to make sure you are progressing in your practice.

· Intermediate level Hatha Yoga Block/Drop-in: 7.35 – 9.00pm, Partick Burgh Halls, Lesser Hall, £7 drop-in (£4 full time student) or £35 for 6 week block (including class papers).

This class is suitable for those who have attended the beginners classes and feel ready to move up, or have been practicing another style of yoga before, or feel physically fit from other disciplines. The first block will be running each Monday as usual, then class closes for Christmas with final class 21st Dec.


Tuesday - Partick evening

· Intermediate level Esoteric Yoga block: 6.00-7.30pm, Partick Burgh Halls, Room 1, £35 for 6 week block (including class papers).

This class is suitable for those interested in a more introverted or esoteric class, we relax and spend longer in each posture and focus on a more meditative atmosphere with emphasis on the energetic flows of each technique. Students who wish to deepen their practice or those who have worked with other ‘energetic’ disciplines are welcome, a basic level yoga practice is recommended but not essential.

- The next block will be running from the 1st Dec to 22nd Dec (break 29th Dec) 5th Jan to 12th Jan

- Block 8; 19th Jan to 23rd Feb – END OF BLOCKS

· Beginners level Hatha Yoga Block: 7.40 – 9.00pm, Partick Burgh Halls, Room 1, £35 for 6 week block (including class papers).

This class is suitable for complete beginners and will be starting at the beginning of the syllabus again in Sept. For those of you who have been coming to the class for at least 3 blocks, or feel you would like to push your practice a little further, I would recommend considering moving up to the intermediate class (Monday 7.35pm Partick as above), however, if you do not feel ready yet, you will no doubt find that repeating the first few blocks can be very beneficial to solidify your practice and build confidence.

- The next block will be running from the 1st Dec to 22nd Dec (break 29th Dec) 5th Jan to 12th Jan

- Block 4; 19th Jan to 23rd Feb



Wednesday – Bearsden morning

· Intermediate level Hatha Yoga block: 9.00-10.20am, Bearsden Guide Hall, Pendicle Road, £35 for 6 week block (including class papers).

This class is suitable for those who have been practicing yoga for some time, or feel physically fit to keep up with the more advanced class.

- The next block begins on the 2nd Dec to 23rd Dec (break 30th Dec) 6th Jan to 13th Jan

- Block 8; 20th Jan to 24th Feb – END OF BLOCKS

Wednesday - Milngavie Evening

General level Hatha Yoga Drop-in: 6.00 -7.15pm, St Andrews Church, Stewart St, Milngavie. £7 drop-in (£4 full time student) or £35 for 6 week card.

This class is suitable for complete beginners, and those who have done some yoga before. This class will be running every Wednesday, class closes for Christmas with final class on 23rd Dec resuming 7th Jan.



Thursday – Bearsden evening

· Beginners level 1 Hatha Yoga block: 6.30-7.45pm, Bearsden North Church Hall, Thorn Road, £35 for 6 week block (including class papers).

.This class is suitable for complete beginners and will be starting at the beginning of the syllabus again in Sept. For those of you who have been coming to the class for at least 3 blocks, or feel you would like to push your practice a little further, I would recommend considering moving up to the intermediate class (Wednesday 7.45pm - 9pm Bearsden as below), however, if you do not feel ready yet, you will no doubt find that repeating the first few blocks can be very beneficial to solidify your practice and build confidence.

- Block 8; 21st Jan to 25th Feb – END OF BLOCKS
