1st 2nd Level Support Engineer
Due to restructuring, Glasgow based IT Consultancy company is looking for a dynamic IT person with varying skills in 1st/2nd level support to cover helpdesk and onsite support for clients.
The ideal candidate MUST HAVE at least 2 years commercial experience, have knowledge of Windows XP, Vista, SBS server, Windows 2003 Server, Citrix, knowledge of networking and broadband set up and have used remote tools for administration. Will be working towards MCSE/MCSA and have at least an MCP.
Nice to haves : Citrix CCA or above, VMWare, Exchange and Cisco.
The candidate is expected to be able to work on own initiative and take responsibility for faults; out of hours and weekend work is expected and will also be expected to join the on-call rota. The candidate is expected to show initiative and bring new dynamics ideas.
