Graduate programmer, with couple of years post graduate experience an advantage

Self motivated team player, ready to hit ground running

Innovative, with initiative, and passion for coding

Business awareness an advantage, or already in own business

Key skills and focus areas:

PHP programming
o ability to code quickly and efficiently and to modify open source code

MySQL
o set-up and manage databases, write queries, create input & output processes

JQuery plus other libraries
o integration of components, specifically dynamic menus and tabs, plus other components as required

WordPress
o knowledge of WordPress, themes, plugins, configuration, modification

WordPress Multi-User (WPMU)
o as above, with ability to integrate databases, build & modify plugins etc
o Buddy Press, BBpress, WPMUDev knowledge
o Plugin writing/editing
o Dashboard applications for back-end content management and featuring in WP/ WPMU

Magento e-commerce platform, ZEND Framework, and Payment Gateway integration
o Develop e-store templates and build e-stores utilising the suite of available extensions
o Source or develop further extensions as required

Experience of various APIs or ability to code/use/integrate
e.g. Google maps, Microsoft Virtual Earth, U-Mapper etc

OpenX Advertising Server integration

XHTML, HTML, CSS, XML, RSS etc,
o for Design/layout
o for News and other feed integration

Adobe Flash MX & Action scripting

Awareness of SEO practices
o Meta tagging
o Internal link structuring

Salary: £20-30k, dependent on experience.
Start date: September/October 2009.
