Mainland Britain' remotest pub - busy up to 70/80 covers. Award winning operation with long standing staff.
Clientele mainly yachts,walkers, stalking parties, holiday trade and locals. Folk music, seafood, good team, great bosses, stunning location.
6 nights 48 hours approx - menu preparation and presentation. Responsiblefor overseeing kitchen operation, ordering, cleanliness and running of an established food reputation.
Immediate start for right candidate. Organised, good stock rotation, eye for operating costs, flair for presentation, knowledge of shellfish/fish, team player, sense of humour, can-do atttitude, passionate about good food, use of fresh herbs, gastropub with twist on scottish modern cuisine, use of fresh herbs, quality ingredients and out of the box menus.HACCP, H and H, FIFO stock rotation and a willingness to muck in and have fun with great staff and good customers.
This is not a freezer to fryer operation and your creativity and presentation skills are sought. Our food reputation proceeds us. Owners very competent in the kitchen, family run business for over 16 years and we wnat you to to succeed in your new role with us being part of The old Forge,giving you as much support t fulfill the role as is needed.
We are remote but very busy, the role is seasonal until october with prospects for long term for the right candidate.
