ARB / RIBA Qualified - Project Architect


£38k - £45k + Benefits


A Glasgow based private practice architecture organisation, has enlisted my services to recruit an ARB / RIBA qualified Project Architect to join their existing team. The client is a market leader in the design and delivery of highly complex serviced buildings such as Education and Healthcare projects. They also provide specialist technical advice to various government agencies on bespoke healthcare projects.

The job

As a key appointment, the successful candidate will play a major role on the delivery of a large acute health care project in the West of Scotland. The main remit of the role will be:
· Managing a team of design architects and technicians
· Contract administration
· Client liaison, including liaising with contractors, engineers, surveyors and project managers
· Providing technical advice and information specific to acute healthcare regulations
· Attending client and contractor meetings providing technical guidance when appropriate

Essential criteria

Ø ARB / RIBA qualification
Ø Extensive demonstrable experience of Acute Healthcare projects
Ø ArchiCAD expereince beneficial, however full training would be provided
Ø Excellent knowledge of technical specifications of acute healthcare building regulations
Ø Sound understanding of the departmental spatial planning requirements
Ø Chair meetings with up to twenty stakeholders - advise on design solutions
