Large Management Organisation - Based in centre of Glasgow, requires a J2ee developer with experience of portal development, for ongoing project and development work.

Person's applying must be legally entitled to work in the UK and be able to operate out of the Glasgow office.

Salary - Good Market Rate will be paid

This position would suit someone looking for a very flexible role, with the option to work from home on occasions. Weeks off or month off for school holidays would not be a problem. This role would be designed to work around you time.

Development Platform: Vignette Portal Technology. Development of new portal applications, design implementation, CMS structure.

Technical Skill set sought:
• J2EE
• EJB
• JSP
• Spring
• Hibernate
• WRSP
• Apache
• Eclipse

Specific skills (or similar) :
• Vignette Portal (VAP) version 7 or higher.
• Vignette VCM version 7 or higher.

Personal Attributes:
Experience of Requirement Gathering and Analysis
Interaction with Business Users, through development work shops or training.
Ability to take a lead on project implementations.
