Eden Scott's client, a leading financial services organisation in the centre of Glasgow, has a requirement for a Senior Architect to provide technical vision, direction and leadership across a wide spectrum of technologies including .net and Java with specific in depth expertise in enterprise level applications, data or integration technologies.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of designing and delivering high quality architecture roadmaps and enterprise level solutions in complex international organisations, preferably within the financial services or investment management sectors. This role is very delivery focused and will not just involve IT Governance.

You will be experienced in the build and delivery of mission critical, ecommerce systems with demanding requirements for scalability, performance and reliability. This role will span web applications, middleware and some amount of infrastructure and you will produce high level designs and proof of concept.

You will have excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels through the organisation as this role will involve regular interaction with Senior Executives at board level.
