Our client is an exciting and dynamic organisation based in the city centre of Glasgow.

With interesting new projects, and growth expected again this year, they are looking for a Junior Java Developer to complement their existing team. This role will initially be on a three month fixed term contract, with the possibility of permanent for the correct candidate.

 





The key duties of this role will include:

* developing bespoke applications

* developing and improving "off the shelf" applications

* working closely with internal and external stakeholders in order to gather requirements.

* increase own knowledge through technological research.





Technically, the successful candidate will have experience in the following

·          Java

·          Apache / Tomcat / JBOSS or similar web server and application server experience

·          Web Services

·          Unix familiarity

You will be degree educated within a Computing related discipline, and will have commercial experience.
